Yen is our keeper, by default being the only girl, from our first litter. She is turning out just lovely though! Her happy-go-lucky attitude is her best feature but there's no denying she is physically sound --and in a tiny package to boot! She is almost exactly what I was hoping to produce. Her chase instinct is very strong and she loves to tug. Her food motivation has increased over time but she will work for praise just fine. Her favorite place to be is my lap.

At her first official dog show (she had been shown in novice puppy, a non-licensed class) she went Best Female and Best of Winners in the afternoon, both over competition. She has since gone on to win a Best Female and a couple of Reserves in a very large entry. With Covid19 looming, we haven't been able to show as much as hoped.

Yen made both her ASFA and LGRA debut in the fall of 2020. She picked up some ribbons and points in ASFA but wasn't quite fast enough (nor confident in passing) to get anything in LGRA. She quickly picked up the pace and confidence, earning several GRC points in her last few meets. Hopefully we will get to try NOTRA next year. Can't wait to continue showing and running this girl!
